This time, its use will soon be wider with plans to replace the KAI Commuter fleet with the EA204 Series KRL.
Based on what was reported by antaranews, KAI Commuter plans to renew their fleet by replacing the Series 05 fleet, the 1970s-made fleet ordered by the Jabodetabek & PT KCJ division, and the previous generation PT INKA-made fleet which is now serving with the newest fleet, the series.
